steps!
iris walks! she was moving sideways across the floor on two feet while not holding anything. [info]rebbyribs and i squeed, at which point iris sat down and gave us a very puzzled look.

thanks! i should really have said 'iris takes steps.' i'm sure she'll really walk around later, but so far it's just enough to qualify as potentially bipedal.

Tee-hee. I love that she's doing it sideways. She's such a fast crawler that she makes toddling seem really inefficient, but I wonder if going sideways as a quadraped is still cumbersome enough to suggest to her that bipedalism may have some merits.
